A peaceful heart, brings new breath...

Just spoke to Chrislie. Her mom says that it seems that her body is accepting her new lungs, because she is starting to breath on her own. She is more peaceful and has received new medication which calms her. Her white blood count and temperature is still high, so please pray for that. Riaan and myself (Euzanne) are still with Chrislie and she is doing a great job keeping everyone up to speed. Thank you for all your prayers, we are feeling and seeing it becoming reality! Praise be to God...

We are praying for Alice right now in Texas...for complete healing of the infection and high fever; praying for comfort for her in her restlessness; and that her body will not reject those new beautiful lungs.

Abba,Father thank you for Alice. Thank you that you who created her will also sustain her. Let her know in her mind and her spirit that you are present with her. Heal her body from any infection and touch her new lungs and breath your very breath into them. Thank you for her donor famiy and give them an extra measure of your grace and peace today. I ask that you would be glorifed in the lives of Alice, her family and all those that surround her. Give Alice peaceful rest and renewed strength. Thank you for the Body of Chirst who even her on the internet joins me in pray.

Found Alice via Nate's site -- Hoping and praying in Texas -- thank you for the updates! :) We serve an AWESOME God, who has all things in His beautiful and strong and able hands, and I'm so grateful again for the opportunity to pray for Alice and the family and everyone involved. It's so amazing to get to know and care so deeply for believers we've never met :)

So Thankful to hear that Alice is doing better today. As a parent myself I can not even begin to imagine the pain and frustration it caused your parents to not be allowed to see thier daughter while she was in her state even if it was for her best. I pray god gave them strength and peace to get through that!

Praying here in California that you continue healing and for no infection. Also praying for the Lord to calm your frustrations with the vents and give you rest for the restlessness you are having. Just praying for peace for you as your body accepts the precious gift of new lungs.

I am praying that Alice will continue to be calm and at peace. I am also praying that her family will continue to be strong for her as God continues to work his miracles. I pray that Alice feels the presence of the Holy Spirit there with her with each new breath with her new lungs. I also found Alice's blog through Nate and Tricia, and I am also located in North Carolina. Thank you so much for continuing to keep everyone posted on how she's doing! Continuing to pray!
